Match report GCSE's and cup matches ended up with Wanstead sending 6 players to play a full strength Newham.
Wanstead begun fielding and were chasing the ball around the pitch and collecting the ball from the boundaries. Newham in 20 overs had accumulated 160, meaning the run chase was 8 an over.
As with all Wanstead Friendlies, all players get a bat and a bowl, so intention was to retire pairs after 4 overs unless they were dismissed. Anyway, 20 overs later and 5 wickets down, Wanstead had run the total down with splashings of 4's and 6's and the odd dropped catch. Overall, the team played brilliantly.
