Match report Overton hosted the latest Haydn Davis game this morning, and last weeks 114 run win was topped by this weeks win which was by 116 runs. This was perhaps more pleasing than last week, as Wanstead had two boys in their first hardball game for us, both of whom demonstrated real promise. We also had three reasonably inexperienced spinners, who are now starting to show what they can do, with a sharp stumping being perhaps the champagne moment of the morning. We held back our pace bowlers until the end, which closed out the innings nicely.

Earlier on, with the bat, we fell short of our 187 from last week, but 144 is still quite a few with 4 batsmen getting into their 20's, with 3 retirements on 25.
