Match report The ladies won the toss and decided to field.

Old Actonian ladies started off slow but soon picked up the run rate having scored 50 after 7 overs.
However, soon after Alicia got the key wicket of their captain Marilyn and the run rate slowed down and the wickets carried on falling. Regular wickets taken by Zainab, Saba, Mariam and Anjali who took 4 great wickets ensured the opposition to a low score of only 111 after 29.1 overs.

Zainab and Tor opened the batting and were looking good until a silly run out occurred getting Tor out. In came Mariam who made a good partnership with Zainab before Zainab got caught at mid on making a good 54 off 51 balls. Mariam also made a good 34 off 36 balls before being caught at cover. Skip then went in and hit a few fours and finished off with a four to end the game.

A great effort by the whole team, fielding, bowling and batting.

Well played ladies, we have 2 games left and are only 3 points behind 1st placed Ickenham.
