Match report SUPER TWO'S SUCCESSFULLY DEFEND THEIR TITLE

The Herons' defended their league title with a 10 wicket win over Colchester. Put in the dirt, the new new opening pair of Brett Lee (Andre) and Merv Hughes (Corrie) started magnificently, taking one-a-piece and going at under 3 runs per over for the first 15.A special mention to Andre Louw who has repeatedly ran in, putting his ageing body on the line often on lifeless wickets and bowling 84 overs with a economy rate of 3.89 with an average of 23 is a respectable return for a man of his age.

Next the trio of Fitzy, Nabeel and Jahansher kept a patient Colchester on a tight leash, with a run-rate of 3.42 by their 50th over - superb control from three young talented cricketers.

In response, Waseem and Ismael batting very positively and whacked 173 of 22 overs at 7.9 runs rate. Ismael ended with 115* and Waz 52* to wrap up the league and end the season on a high.
