Match report This was the Peters Cup final. Which is the Met District U15 cup, the winners of which go into the semi finals of the Essex Cup.

Following rain over the week, this game was hastily rearranged, and both sides were impacted by county squad call ups. Wanstead batted first, and got off to a quick start with Tom and Nav hitting 30 off the first 4 overs. This momentum followed through into a solid performance from Jack and Kabelan (30). Jack ended up with 44 not out from our total of 133 in 20 overs. Early wickets for Abdullah (2-15) and Krishan (2-7) slowed down South Woodfords reply, and then tight fielding kept them down to 93, and a deserved 40 run win.

We await to see who we meet (and when) in the Essex Cup semi finals.
