Match report After winning the toss the Heronettes opted to bat. Hannah Newman, scoring her maiden 50 carried her bat, supported by Saba Nasim on 47 not out to help Wanstead reach 203 for 2 off 30 overs.

Working well as a team in the field the Heronettes bowled Underhill out for 50 in just 15 overs, with Lisa Schmak getting a hatrick and Alicia Titre and Kerri Flanagan both taking 2 wickets each. An excellent team result.

Mention also goes to Pam Gadd who umpired her first full game of cricket since passing her exams and to Atrat Shah for taking her first league wicket.
