The Herons dominated the days play in the first of 9 limited over matches. Winning the toss and fielding, the bowling attack were relentless with their pressure, with dot balls a plenty. Chingford amassed 144 from 43.4 overs. The standout figures were Ali. S. Zaidi with 8.4-3-25-5 with some top class bowling in the final overs (2.4 overs, 3 wickets, 5 runs). Nabeel showed maturity, also bowling the closing overs with very little in the way of loose deliveries - making a real impact in the debut season.

The batting unit went about the chase in much the same way as the 5 games before, scoring 147 from 18.4 overs (7.98 per over). All contributed with Izzy "fiddy" frustrated by falling just shy of his much coveted ton...with 24. The two's have now scored 1184 runs from the first 6 games, averaging a run rate of 5.8 per over.
