Match report On a grey and rainy afternoon, Wanstead ladies had an early tea before deciding to field first.

Tight bowling from Kerianne and Alicia ensured the pressure was on from the start and restricted Hampstead to only 25 after 12 overs. Good bowling from Victoria and Anjali and a couple of catches in the field by Rebecca and Saba kept the run rate low. Neha and Saba took 7 wickets between them to wrap the innings for only 66.

A shaky start by the ladies when 3 wickets fell within the first 9 overs but the ladies brought it back with Saba scoring a quick 26* and Neha with a quick 24*.

Well done ladies, first league win!
