Match report This was the semi-final of the Haydn Davis competition. With the weather as well, it also took ages to agree a date, and we ended up playing it 2 days before the final.

After an unbeaten 20 over campaign this year across over 20 games in all competitions and friendlies, this game was a step too far in many ways, with some boys back at school. The weather ruined most of our August fixtures, and we only showed glimpses of the excellent cricket we have played all year. No excuses though, we were outplayed. Not surprisingly, Bancroft Lions went on to win the tournament two days later, congratulations to them of course, and we will see them indoors, and in 2016.
