Match report The overage veterans took to the indoor pitch in the Chelmsford and dismissed Hutton (last years league winners)for 85 runs in 8 overs. Wicket takers were Jag, Matloob and Alan. The rest were run out. Behind the stumps for the first time in many years was...I prefer to remain nameless, elusive and never selected to keep again.
The Wanstead innings was a story of two parts, part 1, John Chambers hero batman who scored more than 50% of the total (actually its probably closer to 90%). Then there is Part two, the rest of us who have the skills of running people out and themselves out to a fine art. So after all this...we lost. However we will fight again. Four matches to go , so much pride to play for.
