Wanstead and Snaresbrook Cricket Club Won By 42 runs

Match report Losing the toss (as usual) the ladies were put into bat on a fairly green wicket and scored 163-10 in 29.5 overs with Skip Saba Nasim scoring a well controlled 104 including 18 fours!

The ladies fielded and bowled tightly not allowing Harrow to score easily which built up pressure for the batsman to try and score big leading to the openers being caught and bowled by Alicia Titre! Excellent bowling by Nafeesa also restricted the runs.

In came Zainab and Skip to control the run rate even further leading Harrow to only 57-3 at drinks (15 overs). Further good fielding and 3 wickets for Skip and 1 for Zainab led to a batting order collapse which eventually led to Harrows demise in the game. Well batted by Young Sonali Patel their no. 3 batsman (Middlesex county) who was not out at the end with a good knock of 65.

Another excellent win by the ladies! 2 more wins in the last 2 games could lead to a league win if Harrow also beat Old Actonians next week! Fingers crossed!
