Match report This was the first game in the 30 over Jeff Rodrigues cup for U13 v Bancroft Lions. We lost the toss and were put in on a hot day at Overton. Jake Chambers got us off to a flying start with a rapid 42, ably supported by Haaris Usman, who then batted throughout the innings for a superb evenly paced maiden hundred ending only in the last over when bowled for 109.

Chasing 229 was always going to be a tough ask for the opposition, and we bowled spin throughout the innings with Neil Patel hitting the stumps 5 times for fantastic figures of 6-1-6-5. We also held all our catches in a buoyant and sometimes noisy fielding performance....

All in all a fine win.
