Loughton cc v Wanstead and Snaresbrook Cricket Club Slow Coaches on Mon 03 Jul 2017 at 6pm
Wanstead and Snaresbrook Cricket Club Lost by 4 runs

Match report After the previous fixture was a disaster, this fixture was expected to be another drubbing. But Joe had a couple of jokers up his sleeve. Seriously, Mahesh, chief joker of the two's was selected and with good reason. That reason is that Mahesh can hit the ball out of the ground literally. And he did on a number of occasions. Enough times to add 30 mins to the innings so the match literally finished in the dark.
For a lot of the evening there was talk about somebody's Aunty and a bush by the team. I will need to seek further advise as to the meaning, so watch this space for any updates.
Okay, the highlights of the match...Alan Lord not running out the team and batting an amazing innings. Sohail, batting really well and running out Matloob. Joe bowling AND Joe going in last and having a few conversations whilst out in the middle before being bowled and leaving Sohail as the not out participant. Overall the Wanstead innings started awfully...24 for 4 but then after a few partnerships got to within touching distance of the winning line. but it wasn't to be. However, there was a great sense of camaraderie in the team and the Slowcoaches enjoyed the match despite the loss.
