I am thrilled to confirm that the work to replace the nets is now complete! We are now the proud owners of a four lane state of the art training facility at Overton Drive. We are absolutely delighted with the results.
I would like to pay tribute again to the Project Heron team and those of you who have supported events and donated so generously over the last twelve months. When you next visit the ground you will see the fantastic results of all your efforts.
The nets will be locked and unavailable until a suitable time in April when the ground hopefully is drier, but they will available for use in time for the start of what promises to be a very exciting 2020 season.
Project Heron is not over. We now intend to raise funds to refurbish and develop the clubhouse and as such we continue our efforts into 2020, commencing with the 2020 Ball at Overton Drive on 4 April. Tickets are still on sale at 2020 Ball Tickets . It promises to be a great night of celebration of what we have achieved so far as well as looking forward to the new season. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
