This email is aimed at those juniors who are new to using a hardball or intermediate players who would like to improve their game. If that describes your junior and they would like to improve their cricket skills over the winter then keep reading! For the first time, we have sessions specifically aimed at these juniors so they can develop their skills ready for the summer. These are the details:
When will they be? Saturdays, 9.15 to 11am from 18 November in term time until Easter holidays. (There may be some weeks where it cannot go ahead due to the hall being used for exams)
Where will they be? Caterham High School (there's plenty of parking)
What will the sessions consist of? During the sessions, we will typically first focus on drills to improve skills before having a net or a game. And of course we will aim to make the sessions fun.
I reckon I'm one of the best players in our team! Is it for me? No, it's aimed at those who aren't an automatic pick for their age group or those new to hard ball cricket
What will it cost? TBC, but we expect about £40/£45 for a block of six sessions which we will ask you to pay in advance of the first session.
Do I have to pay for 6 sessions? It's much easier for us if you do, however if you are unable to commit to six sessions we hope to allow people to turn up on the day for £10 a session.
