Wantsead Ladies Beat Old Chelmsfordians by 61 Runs    30 November

In yet another unbelievably scintillating solo effort (Gosh, she pays me a lot to write this guff - Ed), "Sparkling" Saba Nasim put paid to the opposition with the team's highest score (27*) and the best bowling (2-0-7-2).

The rest of the team also played, says Saba, and some of them also scored runs and took wickets.

The Heronettes completed the league stage as leaders and, along with rivals Woodham Mortimer, qualify for the semi-finals of their indoor competition.
