Wanstead and Buckhurst Hill Inseparable!

This fantastic, high-scoring fantastic game ended in an amazing tie.

The Herons totalled 150 for 4 in their 12 overs, Rehan Hassan scoring 32 and Adnan Akram remaining 34 not out.  There were noteworthy contributions too from Arfan Akram, Kishen Velani, Adam Lord, and the unmoustachioed skipper Joseph Palmer (can't have been that noteworthy or else their scores would have been mentioned - Ed).

Buckhurst started off slowly with good bowling from Lord and Hassan, who received the sledge of the season: "This is the best I've seen you bowl."  And that was from an umpire!  The Hill's batsmen targeted the bowling of Ad. Akram (who else? - Ed), needed 3 to win off the last ball, and scrambled 2 byes.

Wanstead have played 4 games, winning 3 and tying this fixture.
