Match report A fatastic team effort brought the 6ths their second win on the bounce batting first. Our total of 217 for 7 was competitive on a slow low fairlop track and this was achieved by an excellent 72 not out from Inky Choudhary and some good support all round with everyone scoring. It was the bowling and fielding however that won this game. With a rocket from Len about last weeks fielding still ringing in our ears, the younsters stepped up to the plate and the enthusiam and support to the bowlers was excellent. Special note must go to Krishen and Simran who led by example, attacking every ball and throwing at speed with great accuracy. We used no less than 9 bowlers to slowly chip away at Fives. Special mention to Anjali on her debut who bowled in a difficult period when Fives were scoring freely, and with a great line and length and some drift using the Fairlop Doctor (wind to the ignorant), snaffled two wickets. The 6ths got the final wicket by a fantastic piece of fielding from Simran Dhingra-Smith who pounced on some hesitation by the batsman to run out the last man with 7 balls to spare.
