Anyway, a slight alteration to the batting lineup saw the opening pair of Saurav and Waseem enter the arena. Waseem and Saurav are retired On 29 &27 respectively. Naail is unluckily run out tonight without scoring. Ahmed, Abdul and Finlay all contribute to the Wanstead A totall of 99 for 3 off 12 overs. This a a bigger goal than the last match they Wanstead A had to defend. With three run out s in this innings I think we need to look at our calling. However, that is for the future and not for today.
The Loughton innings started off slowly and as the innings progressed they began to find themselves under pressure as the run rate grew. Excellent bowling from the whole team ensurednthatLoughton didn't get anywhere near to the total and the last wicket was taken in the 9th overand Loughton were dismissed to 60, all out.Another well deserv Wanstead A win....bring on Ilford!
